HI @Ca
Thank you for reviewing the article about Kingvention. I have talked to other members about the sources in the article. It is a challenge to find articles about this event which has been mentioned within wiki many times for the last 10 years but it seems the press is not interested about this so finding sources has been hard. However, I found few articles, mentions, reviews about this events on independent website, local news, fanclubs and podcasts. I was told that should be enough but you seems to think it is not. Would you be able to help me to get this approved?
Thank you. MarcelM777 (talk) 06:14, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Hi, I declined the draft as I believed that there are insufficient information about this convention that is sourced to reliable, independent sources to create a well-fledged article. If you cannot find any more reliable, independent sources, that might be a sign that this subject matter is best merged into some other pre-existing article. (Perhaps Cultural impact of Michael Jackson?) Catalk to me!06:18, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Thank you! I get that. It is already in few mentions throughout wiki. I have found 3 independent sources which I was told should have been enough. One is an web article on Echoes Magazine, a well know London based magazine. They also printed a full article in their printing issue in 2016. There is a podcast that just came out yesterday about their event few weeks ago and a full review in one of the well-known fanclub website which has over 10 million subscribers. Would those additions ease your decision? MarcelM777 (talk) 06:33, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
My review was based on the sources that was currently on the draft. If you can find additional reliable and independent sources, then feel free to re-submit. Otherwise I recommend merging the content of the draft to the pre-existing article on Michael Jackson fandom. While citing independent sources is a definitely a plus, they also need to discuss the convention in detail (i.e. not a short note about the convention starting), and be unreliable. As I wrote, I don't think MJVibe is a reliable source, and most podcasts are self-published and thus generally unreliable (unless the podcaster is a subject-matter expert). In regards to significant coverage, is the 2016 Echoes Magazine print article any different than what is currently cited in the draft? The one that is currently cited on the draft is quite brief and provides little information in my opinion. My own quick search only found this passing mention in a MJ biography. Catalk to me!13:03, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Thank you so much @Ca, MJVibe was used by the National Gallery in London for their MJ exhibition and even referred in their books of this exhibition. I would though that would be considered as a good source if even museums are using them as a point of reference.
I have found some references in an academic website where they describe the full event. I hope this is acceptable?
I will also add the podcast. Sorry a bit confused as the previous user said I only need 3 and I have now added so many. LOL I will carry on looking for more and re-submit. I do think as kingvention is mentioned in so many instances on wiki, it deserves maybe its own article. Thank you. MarcelM777 (talk) 18:14, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for the response! Can you link where MJVibe was used by a Museum? While having three independent sources is a good rule of thumb, there is no "specific number" of sources required. What is important is that there are sufficient biographical information that can be sourced to reliable sources so that a well-fledged article can be created. Catalk to me!22:53, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Thank you so much. I have been looking for a digital version of the book but it does not appear to be available, only physically. So I took a picture of it File:MJVibe referenced in NG Catalogue.jpgMJVibe referenced in NG Catalogue
With the new sources you added I think there is better chance of it being accepted, though I haven't looked through them yet. I recommend re-submitting it so another reviewer can take a look. 👍 Catalk to me!08:19, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
Thank you! I am worried that if I re-submit, someone else might, again, deny it. Do you think you could have a look? MarcelM777 (talk) 08:33, 12 June 2025 (UTC)

Hi! The Spanish and English articles for Frederico Garcia Lorca contain different places of death. Should I leave them be - or should I update one to match the other?
Hi, nice to see you again! You might want to see what sources both Wikipedia editions cite for their birth dates. If there are even split between the person's birth date between reliable sources, the best option is to note that discrepancy in the article. The guide Wikipedia:When sources are wrong might be relevant. There is already a coordinated database for information like this called Wikidata. However, it being a wiki of its own, it wouldn't be any more reliable than any other wikis. Catalk to me!15:21, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!

You've objected to my including reference to the fact that Sabine has some songs, on the grounds that this fact is not well known. Can you justify this by pointing to somewhere in WP's policies where it is stated that information that is not well known should not be included in an article? Or reference some other aspect of WP policy that is relevant to this issue? Brian Josephson (talk) 14:43, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
As the lead should only contain details that are most salient to the subject's notability, I did not believe her lesser-known songmaking streak was due for inclusion on the lead. If you find reliable and independent sources mentioning her songs, I will have no qualms on its inclusion. Otherwise, I would mention the songs somewhere later in the article. Catalk to me!14:53, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
I was going to say that I accepted that the comment on her being a singer should not be in the lead, but I see you've now dealt with the issue yourself. Great, and thanks (have you heard/seen her 'I can't forget', by the way)! Brian Josephson (talk) 15:09, 2 July 2025 (UTC)

I would like to clarify that there are two major independent feature articles covering Gregory’s work, both written by respected music critics and published in established Russian-language media in Israel (Vesty and Maximum, both in 2005).
The Vesty article, in particular, was written by Victor Licht, a well-known music critic who formerly served as Head of Contemporary Music at the central Soviet Union magazine “Sovetskaya Muzyka” (Soviet Music).
The article published in 2005 was not solicited or paid for — Mr. Licht contacted Gregory after seeing Gregory’s appearance on RTVI and conducted an independent interview before writing a full-page analytical feature.
A scan of the original article (in Russian) is available here. The original print issue is present Gregory’s personal archive.
The Maximum article by Pavel Shtifman (director and critic) also provides an in-depth review of Gregory’s work and influence in the Israeli jazz community.
Scan available in the link provided above (at the bottom of the page).
While most recent coverage is in online music databases and playlists, Gregory has also had his compositions broadcasted on American radio (KAFM 88.1, Colorado, Nov 2024) — documented in the official Spinitron playlist — which demonstrates ongoing recognition outside Israel, though I understand that Wikipedia prioritizes significant print/online coverage.
Please let me know if you need additional documentation, translations, or further context for these sources. I am happy to provide any materials required. Winesela1969 (talk) 17:43, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
Are the 2005 articles currently cited in the draft? If not, I recommend adding those significant pieces of coverage in your draft. Catalk to me!01:17, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
Hi Ca,
Thank you for the insight. I added the mentioned pieces of coverage from 2005 to the draft, as well as an external link to the Gregory Golub page at www.jazzmusicarchives.com and resubmitted the article. Gregory also received an ISNI code (see Gregory Golub on wikidata) that will be linked to this Wikipedia page once it is published.

Hello Fr Pacwa,
I watched your documentry "A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing" on EWTN. I love being Catholic. I joined the church in 2002. However, after watching the program, I am contridicted. I still attend mass but I have a hard time supporting the church finnancially. I see everything you said happeming in the church and I do not want to finance that agenda. Please help me understand what I should do. --Godtouchedme (talk) 14:20, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
