I would simply discuss the change of ownership discussing this is now Mima Films and not ITW Mima Packaging Systems. Ideally the changes would be stated as:

Mima Films Formerly ITW Mima Packaging Systems.

Mima Films are a stretch film division of Signode, the transit packaging organization of Crown Holdings - Wikipedia. Mima films are a stretch film producer in coordination with stretch wrapping manufactures under the Signode organization in Finland and Bulgaria.

Signode, was once part of Illinois Tool Works (ITW). Crown Holdings, Inc. acquired Signode Industrial Group Holdings from The Carlyle Group in 2018, marking a strategic expansion into the transit packaging sector. SignodeEMEA (talk) 15:37, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
