Short descriptions
editHi, there are specific rules on the wording of short descriptions, which you can read at WP:SHORTDESC. Please note particularly that short descripions should be short (try to keep them below 40 characters) per WP:SDSHORT. You don't need to re-state the subject, which saves quite a few characters; have a look at the examples at Wikipedia:SDEXAMPLES. MichaelMaggs (talk) 22:15, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please stop editing the page and use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule— if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page.-- Ponyobons mots 21:22, 20 March 2026 (UTC)

- @Bencefo - You continue to engage in editing behavior that you were warned against. The additional "info" is not supported by a reliable source; in addition, the statement is NOT supported by the forum statements. If you continue with this editing, you will be permanently blocked for disruptive editing. In the meantime, take a break.... you are temporarily blocked from editing the article. — ERcheck (talk) 22:24, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

You have been blocked temporarily from editing certain areas of Wikipedia for disruptive editing to Guinea pig - persistently adding unsupported statement; persistently undoing related reverts. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. - I am just trying to insert a fact Bencefo (talk) 22:59, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Bencefo - Your "fact" is without a reliable source. The Guinea Pig Forum does not qualify. — ERcheck (talk) 23:46, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- I put that citation in because I tried to not put a citation but that got deleted so I put this citation in so people can know guinea pigs don't have tails Bencefo (talk) 10:22, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
- Basically I don't know where to cite from Bencefo (talk) 10:23, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Bencefo - Please do not insert a citation just to get a statement in. In this case, there were two problems with the citation: 1) It was not from a reliable source. 2) Nothing in the citation supported the statement. Even more at issue - it is a false statement ("They are the only animals in the order Rodentia that don't have a tail.") - For example: 1) The manx rat is tailless; and 2) some South American agouti are tailless.
- If you cannot find a reliable source for a statement, do not add it to any article. If you think it is true, you can post on the article's talk page to ask for help in finding a citation. — ERcheck (talk) 13:23, 23 March 2026 (UTC)

- Then can I say ‘’they don't have a tail’’? Bencefo (talk) 15:35, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- It has been 4 days! Bencefo (talk) 19:13, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Bencefo - A statement about the guinea pig's lack of a tail is already in the article. Please do not persist on trying to insert information about a tail. It is time to move on. If you have not learned from this interchange, it is unlikely that you will be unblocked. — ERcheck (talk) 15:07, 30 March 2026 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Flashbulb Games
edit
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Flashbulb Games requesting that it be speedily undeleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy undeletion, such articles may be undeleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - Why, get my page back! Bencefo (talk) 22:49, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Bencefo - I recommend that you work on it in draftspace, at Draft:Flashbulb Games. Please note that it must meet all Wikipedia policies to be published to mainspace. — ERcheck (talk) 22:52, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Bencefo - Please read Help:Your first article as you write your draft. Your draft article will not be accepted if it is a one line statement without reliable sources; nor if it is not a notable company. — ERcheck (talk) 13:27, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
