Your submission at Articles for creation: Roeland Hendrikx (December 30)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Taabii was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
No Citations added.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

At present, this article relies too heavily on primary sources. Can you find more independent sources to help establish notability?

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Information icon Hello, Artennina. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:23, 31 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by DoubleGrazing were:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Woefully inadequate referencing, with vast swathes completely unsupported. Source #3 is Wikipedia; you cannot cite Wikipedia as a source on Wikipedia. I've no idea what 'source' #4 is supposed to be. Everything must be clearly supported by inline citations to reliable published sources, or else removed.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your recent article submission has been rejected and cannot be resubmitted. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by DoubleGrazing was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: It seems the author has no intention of addressing the decline reasons, or for that matter disclosing their obvious COI, even after multiple reviews. As the current referencing does not provide sufficient evidence for assessing notability, and since better referencing has not been provided, I can only assume that notability cannot be established at this time. To avoid further reviewer time being expended on this, I am therefore now rejecting rather than merely declining this draft.
DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:08, 31 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Could you please tell me detailed what I should do? I ám a decent person who has the best intentions with this article and I only wat the best for it! Only the sometimes written comments (as English is not my mother language) are not easy to understand.
Please give us another moment. Artennina (talk) 17:52, 31 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
First, you must formally disclose your conflict of interest(see the message above with the header "managing a conflict of interest"). If you are compensated in any manner, the Terms of Use require that to be disclosed, see WP:PAID. 331dot (talk) 10:27, 2 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Hello, Artennina, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as HeatherGold (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:50, 6 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:51, 6 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Dear, we do understand it might be confusing, but don't say we are adding advertising material.
I will explain how it went and why you might think we did use multiple accounts: Roeland Hendrikx is one of our leading Belgian artists and clarinetists, he plays international and we we suggested to bring him on Wikipedia, for example on the page clarinetists over the world he was one of the only players without an English Wikipedia . So... his niece tried it, but it seems not to be was, so now his manager , me, will try the best to get him there. Wikipedia is foul of artists, so he deserves to be among them. Is this promotional material? Yes of course it is. Do we need to bloc all the artists then?
And you were extremely rude! You could have explained in detail!! how to work instead of doing what you did! HeatherGold (talk) 14:42, 6 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
Okay, finally we're making some progress.
You say User:Artennina is this person's niece. She therefore has a conflict of interest (COI) in this subject, which must be disclosed. I have already several days ago posted a COI message on this page (see 'Managing a conflict of interest' above), but it has not been responded to. It contains instructions for how to make the disclosure.
You also say that you are the manager of this person, in which case you presumably have some sort of financial stake in the matter. You therefore also have a COI in this subject, and must likewise disclose it, only in your case you need to make the more specific paid-editing disclosure. I will post instructions on your talk page.
I would be grateful if both of you could make your respective disclosures promptly. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:52, 6 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
