VERI PERI moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, VERI PERI, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). The article also needs to adhere to the Manual of Style. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Uhai (talk · contribs) 04:59, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Dear Abdullah,

just because a link is red, doesn't mean it should be removed. Redlinks are sometimes used to suggest to other editors that they might want to create the linked page (provided it is notable enough to merit an article). Because of this, redlinks shouldn't be indiscriminately removed (though they do sometimes require removal).

For more information, you might want to read WP:RED.

Introduction to contentious topics

edit

You have recently been editing post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Abdullah raji, I was wondering why you attempted to delete this page via the speedy deletion process. I recognize that it was your nomination, but you made the request two days after it had been approved, which is unusual.

The deletion was not done, since you weren't the only person to edit the page. Can you let me know your objections to allowing the nomination proceed at DYK? It sounds like the article was improved during the review process, but if you know of problems with it that should prevent it from being run, that information would be appreciated. Thank you very much. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:18, 9 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Leiosphaeridia changxingesnis

edit

Hello, Abdullah raji

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Leiosphaeridia changxingesnis for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Why? (As in why do you think it seems to be vandalism or a hoax) Actually I have no problem with deleting this, but I do if these are the reasons. Abdullah raji (talk) 16:24, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
