Welcome to the Special operations group, an initiative of the Military history WikiProject.

Purpose & scope

edit

This group is dedicated to improving the quality of special operations-related topics and articles. It is currently proposed that all articles related to special operations and special forces/special operations forces (SF/SOF) are in the scope of this group. If the proposed scope was agreed upon then the following related articles would be under the task-force's scope:

  • Organization of SOF units around the world-by country
  • Types of SOF units
  • Biographies of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen around the world
  • Battles/operations/missions involving SOF units
  • Roles
  • Training
