Following the government's social media ban in early September 2025, Kami became a prominent leader in the Gen Z Movement Alliance.[3]

  • September 8, 2025: On this date, he was fully involved in the massive youth-led protests at Maitighar Mandala, Kathmandu.
  • He played a role in the Gen Z Movement Alliance, which sought to transition the energy of street protests into a organized "Gen-G" (Generation Government) political force.
  • His platform focused on ending "Nepo-baby" culture (nepotism in politics) and demanding digital freedom.
