Why doesn't this template display the website?
editLooking at the transclusions of this template, I see a lot where the website= parameter is set, but none where it is displayed. MartinPoulter (talk) 13:25, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

This template has so few fields it’s relatively useless. Is there a chance more fields could be added to make it useful? Established, dissolved, criteria, etc would make this much less useless. - SchroCat (talk) 21:08, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- I strongly second this, but lack the technical expertise to do this. WatkynBassett (talk) 20:11, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
- SchroCat – If you can give me a list of fields you'd like implemented, and also the spot you'd like them to appear in the IB (e.g. do you want 'established' to appear before or after 'curators' or 'housed_at'), I can update the template with these. Same for WatkynBassett, if you have any fields you'd like to be available, I can implement them. I sort of just came across this template and added a bunch of functions for a museum collection (cultural and provenance data mostly). Mr rnddude (talk) 09:34, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Mr rnddude, That would be great. Off the top of my head I think the following would be of greatest use:
- type
- scope
- established
- dissolved
- location
- criteria
- access
- I'm basing this on the Private Case article I wrote a few years ago and the fields I think would work well there, but I am sure that others would probably have a better idea of what to add. These fields, the order they are in and their criteria for use, are taken from Template:Infobox library, if that's any help. Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 12:39, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- SchroCat – I've updated the template with these parameters. There are a couple differences between here and infobox library – primarily with 'location' which is a bit more complex in how it works over there. I've attached a maximized version of the infobox (appended at the top) so that you can see all of its available parameters. I've kept 'housed_at' and 'location' as separate primarily so that 'housed_at' can take the name of the building (e.g. British Museum) and 'location' can provide a specific address. All parameters are optional. Mr rnddude (talk) 06:41, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Many thanks Mr rnddude - that's much better! Excellent work. Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 10:31, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
