- Page was promoted to GA recently enough and is long enough. WP:EARWIG says copyvio is unlikely. QPQ is not needed. The hook is interesting and cited in the page, and the source confirms it. I have no other subjective issues. Seems good to me!

@Not-cheesewhisk3rs and ArtemisiaGentileschiFan: "has been planned for ten years/since 2016" cannot be verified by a source from 2016. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 16:16, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
- I think this verifies ALT1, though I just noticed it's actually nine years because it's been planned since November 2016. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 16:28, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
- That's from 2018. Are there any sources which describe this planned project in the past couple of years? If there aren't, in my experience, it means the project was quietly dropped. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 12:17, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
- See #Film - the idea has been revisited as of 2024, in a different format. It's unclear what the final product will be, which is why I didn't try to submit a DYK about David Heyman producing it, it being similar to Paddington, or stuff like that which is cited in the section. Information like that would most likely be out of date, since the idea has changed. However a plan for a film has existed since 2016. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 14:16, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not convinced that we can describe seemingly-unrelated projects from half a decade apart as part of a continual plan. Other promoters may disagree, but I won't be promoting this. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 12:18, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, I understand that. How about ALT2 ...that a movie adaptation of Warriors was planned to have David Heyman as producer? This is sourced to . --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 15:07, 5 April 2026 (UTC)

- ALT2 is not interesting unless a reader knows who Heyman is. Maybe another angle is needed here. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 02:06, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5: What do you mean by another angle? A hook that's not about the failed movie?--not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 07:38, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- In this case, a hook that is not about Heyman or his involvement. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 08:15, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- Alright. How about ALT3 "... that Warriors was planned to be adapted into a "live-action film with computer-generated characters"?" This is cited in The Hollywood Reporter, and in the article. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 09:02, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- Normally I would say it's fine, but given how CGI isn't exactly uncommon in movies these days, it's not really unusual anymore, at least as currently written. Since this is a novel series, maybe Lajmmoore can help out with ideas? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 03:18, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for the ping - what an interesting article. Here's a couple of suggestions:
- ALT4 ...that the range of characters in a fantasy novel series about cats was compared to that of a Greek drama?Rawlins, Sharon (1 October 2003). "Forest of Secrets". School Library Journal. Vol. 49, no. 10. p. 167. This exciting book is not for the faint of heart as it is often violent [...] It is reminiscent of Greek drama, with its huge cast of characters [maybe could be tightened?]
- ALT5 ... that fans of a fantasy novel series about cats post their own animations based on it to YouTube? Reuben, Emily (3 May 2019). "How the 'Warrior Cats' fan animation scene affected one of its biggest and youngest creators". Ball State Daily.
- ALT6 ... that "political intrigue, religious warfare, forbidden love, and violent cat death" are described as themes in a fantasy novel series about cats? Ahlin, Charlotte (20 June 2016). "10 Reasons We Loved The "Warriors" Series As Kids". Bustle.
- These are just bits that stood out to me, feel free to adjust/etc. Lajmmoore (talk) 17:12, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- Another suggestion (ALT7): "...that fans of a fantasy novel series about cats create video games based off of it programmed in Scratch?" Resnick, Mitchel; Robinson, Ken (28 August 2018). Lifelong Kindergarten: Cultivating Creativity through Projects, Passion, Peers, and Play. MIT Press. pp. 45–46. doi:10.7551/mitpress/11017.001.0001. ISBN 978-0-262-34434-0. But I'm not sure if that has enough broadness. Otherwise I quite like ALT4. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 07:02, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

- @ArtemisiaGentileschiFan: This appears to be ready for a new look. Nominator prefers ALT4, I have a slight preference for ALT6, will leave the final decision to you. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 07:57, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
The new hooks also look good to go. I also prefer ALT6. ArtemisiaGentileschiFan (talk) 12:03, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
