I loved watching my friends stream this game on Discord. One of them spent an hour creating the perfect Mii design and it was great. Expect me to begin soon! toby in solidarity 18:20, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Another GA for you! toby in solidarity 04:22, 6 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Lead

• ...shortly after development concluded on Miitomo (2016). Would prefer ...shortly after development concluded on the mobile app Miitomo (2016). (and unitalicized)
• Done.
• ...as they felt the Nintendo 3DS' technical limitations held... (and unlinked)
• Done.

Gameplay

• The Mii Maker introduces more advanced customization options, including... Saying that the Mii Maker "introduces" these features lacks context. I recommend removing it.
• ...and event clothing. I don't know what you mean by "event clothing".
• So, I should preface by saying that although I have enough authorship to warrant nomination, most of the article was written by users MatthewPlayThrough and Z-Gamer Guys (not pinging in case they're busy, lol); if the article is divided into quarters, the three of us have all written a quarter each, plus the quarter occupied by 10 other minor authors. I've still read the article top-to-bottom and have contributed to major sections, but in this case I think the mention of event clothing was another editor's decision, not explicitly mine. (In hindsight I could've requested a co-nomination, but I'm not familiar with how it works and wasn't sure how active the two aforementioned editors were) This terminology is taken straight from the game for clothing that Miis use when attending events like weddings. I agree it sounds strange without context, so I've removed it. TheBrickGraphic (talk) 10:17, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
• Miis talk through robotic speech synthesis, which can be modified. Would prefer if you say how the speech synthesis can be modified.
• Added "... which is modified by using sliders that manipulate its pitch, speed, and other attributes."
• A new addition is the Palette House, an island facility... Saying that the Palette House is "a new addition" sounds unnecessary.

Development and release

• ...with assistance from Intelligent Systems, Bandai Namco Studios Singapore and Bandai Namco Studios Malaysia. Missing Oxford comma.
• Done.
• ...as well as the "little quirk" feature, were implemented to... I don't think this "little quirk" feature was mentioned anywhere hitherto.
• I've added a sentence about little quirks in Gameplay, since this was a pretty substantial inclusion. ("Miis can be given "little quirks" that augment their everyday behaviors, such as their gait when walking.") TheBrickGraphic (talk) 10:17, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
• Upon Living the Dream's initial reveal, fans...
• Done.
• Upon Living the Dream's initial reveal, fans speculated whether same-gender relationships would be included...... When Living the Dream was announced, speculation arose on whether Nintendo would commit to their statement. These sentences feel near-identical in meaning and structure.
• Removed the second sentence altogether. I also tweaked the following sentence into "The game's reveal trailer featured a scene with two female Miis interacting during a dream sequence, which fans theorized hinted at additional romance options."

Reception

• "Massive" should be italicized like massive not ''massive''.
• Done.
• Live stream is linked twice.
• Removed second link.
• I think Eurogamer.de should be trimmed to Eurogamer
• Done.
• The quotes around "face paint" should be removed.
• Done.
• There are a couple claims that state criticisms as fact: Betts additionally criticized the triteness of the minigames..., ...a sentiment shared by Eurogamer.de's Alexander Bohn-Elias, who cited the Miis' charming personality in animation and voice...
• Awaiting your responses now.

Spotcheck

The following refers to this revision.

• 5 I don't see where importing [Miis] from the Switch's built-in creation software is mentioned
• 6
• 7
• 8
• 10 I used a machine translation and I do not see where they mention how Mii requests can include minigames.
• 11 I do not see where Miis can become enemies.
• From the source: "But then we had a squabble over something absolutely ridiculous, and I had to live in fear that I might be breaking up with my IRL husband. Don’t worry, though, you can usually repair those relationships, and it adds a little more drama to friendships and dating." TheBrickGraphic (talk) 03:01, 6 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

• 15 Why is this placed to support the little quirk claim, lol.
• I intended to use the other GamesRadar+ source that reviews the game; said review verifies the "little quirk" name. It has the nickname "gradar" and thus doesn't show up in the menu used to automatically assign refs when you type "gamesradar" or the like. I swear, the visual editor can really tick me off at times. • 23 It was one staffer who opposed the Mii News removal.

• 34 With the premiere of the game's official Direct, it was confirmed that the option for gay, bisexual, aromantic, and non-binary Miis would be present in the game. I would move this sentence down after the January Direct mention because that is what these sources are referencing. Currently, it seems like the article is talking about the March 2025 Direct.

• She writes, "Still, after nearly 12 years of anticipation, it’s just a huge relief that we got some confirmation today..." She doesn't explicitly say she's relieved that it was confirmed before release, but I think she's implying that she was relieved it was confirmed, at that point in time, now rather than later given the 12 years of speculation.
