Adding the Rare 1964 lyrics
editThe 1964 lyrics was a completely redone version of the soviet lyrics that was performed in 1964, but never got used as Khrushchev was falling out of favor and later got ousted.
Russian Original: Сильны несгибаемой волей и верой В победу высоких и светлых идей, В борьбе утверждаем мы новую эру Для счастья, свободы и братства людей.
Припев: Партией Ленина в битвах сплочённые, Дивные дива народы творят. Гордо шагаем мы в даль озарённую — Это огни Коммунизма горят.
Мы славим немеркнущий ленинский гений, Советский, навеки незыблемый строй. Становится былью мечта поколений, И труженик честный — сегодня герой.
Припев:
Как символ свободы для всех угнетённых, Сияет Кремлёвская наша звезда, И следом за нами идут миллионы Дорогою мира, борьбы и труда.
