When will we change the title?

edit

when will we change the name of this article to the the "2nd Impeachment of Sara Duterte"? (correct title) not "2026 Impeachment of Sara Duterte". Wilson Palacpac III (talk) 10:53, 29 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Once the house votes to impeach Sara Duterte. She is technically not yet impeached even after the clarificatory hearing ended today. This should happen when the House transmits the article of impeachment to the Senate. It is in current awkward title right now cause Duterte was impeached last year but never removed from her role. Once Duterte is indeed impeached, should we move Impeachment of Sara Duterte to 2025 impeachment of Sara Duterte, then this to 2026 impeachment of Sara Duterte? Howard the Duck (talk) 13:59, 29 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I think First impeachment of Sara Duterte and Second impeachment of Sara Duterte would be better. There's like a precedent for this (Like First impeachment of Donald Trump and Second impeachment of Donald Trump). Of course with the 2025 and 2026 links as plausible redirects. Yeah the Trump precedents look convincing enough. Howard the Duck (talk) 16:55, 29 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
okay be prepared my wikibros. They are gonna "most likely" impeach Duterte any second now. Wilson Palacpac III (talk) 02:16, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
255 votes in favor. We can now change the title. LionFosset (talk) 09:18, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

RE: List of Solons' votes on the articles of impeachment

edit

Hello wiki peps it would be great if we add a list of votes on the article. Though I already found a credible source for the solons' votes on the articles of impeachment, it is still under frequent updates and lacks a full list of all votes. You can access it on https://www.datawrapper.de/_/b7ytu/. Austin asis2011 (talk) 12:35, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Committee votes with photos

edit

Do we really need a table that includes photos of the congressmen/women? Aren't we supposed to be sick of their faces (LOL). Howard the Duck (talk) 13:54, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I think that we should be consistent on this article, let's just leave it as it is :>>. Austin asis2011 (talk) 15:44, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Consistent with what, exactly? Other impeachment articles don't present committee votes in this manner. Howard the Duck (talk) 15:50, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I apologize if I did not explained it very clearly, what I meant on the term "consistent" was the fact that the first impeachment (article) actually has portraits of house members who signed the articles of impeachment. Austin asis2011 (talk) 17:24, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't. Read again the article, then tell me whose portraits are there. Howard the Duck (talk) 18:11, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I guess we can remove the portrait given that it would be a redundant because there are also portraits on the plenary vote. But the ones on the first article was the House members' signatories not the committee. Austin asis2011 (talk) 18:45, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
No, it wasn't the signatories, all 215 of them, either. There are only 13 portraits.
Again, the committee vote is not presented in this manner, in any impeachment article, from any country. Howard the Duck (talk) 21:43, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
It's been several days since the discussion and no one has given a good reason why this should still be on the article. I think iy wasn't really Austin asis2011 who added the information this way, since up to now, s/he still can't explain what the table actually is for. Howard the Duck (talk) 18:18, 13 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi sorry I was busy with something. But to be clear I wasn't the one who added the table, it was there since then. I think I would be great if we just remove the table since the article already contains the specific information regarding the committee votes. Austin asis2011 (talk) 03:22, 14 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
