Move

edit

I moved this page to Revolutions (plural) - obviously there was more than one revolution. --Alex S 01:34, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Peer review

edit

I've listed this article for peer review as I am hoping to get this article up to at least B-class or GA status. There are a few areas where there is an obvious need for expansion (such as the section Sequence of main trends and just general sourcework), but I was wondering if anyone has any input regarding content or alterations to structure, or good sources to consult for the article that aren't already listed under the bibliography.

Czech lands

edit

Hi @Saeleriela:, could you please give page numbers for the source "A History of the Czech Lands" you added recently? I've moved the section about the constitutional reforms in Austria from the Czech lands section to a new one for Austria. Thank you for your edit! Pave Paws (talk) 22:29, 25 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Pave Paws Did you add them there already? Because I can see them there. Just to be sure, they are 345-352. Thanks for editing it, I should have noticed the rest of the article was in the past tense, and the missing page numbers are my bad. But I gotta say I have some reservations about the movement to Austria. To be sure, it affected Austria too, but it affected and was shaped by the developments in Bohemia just as much, if not more. At the very least, I feel the mention of the Kremsier parliament deserves to be there. The Czechs were instrumental in the Reichstag, and the draft constitution of 1849. Yes, I added page numbers for the text under Czech lands, but thank you for the full page range! I'll add those to the moved section. And I agree about it applying more to the Czech lands too; I'll move the section about the Reichstag under the Habsburg monarchy section as opposed to under an "Austria" section and restore some of the info you added about the Kremsier parliament. @Pave Paws Thanks!! I appreciate it:) Saeleriela (talk) 09:28, 27 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Are there any other reproductions of Horace Vernet's painting of the barricades on the Rue Soufflot available in the PD? The one currently used in this article is watermarked by Gallerix which has bothered me for ages. There is also a high quality one by Gazette Drouot but I do not believe their images are publicly released. Pave Paws (talk) 01:20, 16 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

In the file history at commons , this version replaced an earlier version without a watermark. One could create a new commons file with a different name that uses the original version? Cinderella157 (talk) 03:06, 16 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
