Squadron standards

We dont currently have an article that covers squadron standard other than a brief mention at Colours, standards and guidons#The Royal Air Force and here. I propose that we expand and rename this article to RAF squadron standards and battle honours and expand coverage of the standard and awards. The battle honours are mainly related to the standards so would make a good fit. Any opposition or comments, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 11:45, 1 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Honours or "honors"

The title and introductory text uses proper English, but when it arrives at the lists they are introduced as "Below is lists of battle honors ... " and each list also uses the wrong spelling. This seems rather odd. Is there a reason? Also, shouldn't it be "below are lists"? 82.16.135.131 (talk) 13:53, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
