Subjectivist?

Is Whitehead really a subjectivist? I've never heard him described in this way. I thought the philosophy of organism had more like a neutral monism than a subjectivism or idealism. --The Hanged Man 01:21, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Whitehead is not a subjectivist. As you say, if one tried to describe his scheme in otherwise established terms, one would be inclined to speak of neutral monism. That is essential to Whitehead's scheme.Chjoaygame (talk) 07:55, 24 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Someone who knows more about Whitehead than I do (I know nothing) might want to rescue an overzealous explanation of this book from the Process Philosophy page, which also needs attention. --98.100.207.38 (talk) 09:44, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry if the Process philosophy article's account, largely written by me, of Process and Reality is "overzealous". Please explain what that means, or suggest or enact remedies. What do you mean "rescue"?Chjoaygame (talk) 07:55, 24 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
