Map
editThe map suggests that Northwood is in Hertfordshire yet it's not. The point on the map is outside greater London. HMS Warrior is in Eastbury, Three Rivers, not Northwood. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.189.207.149 (talk) 17:39, 1 April 2007
- This is because HMS Warrior has a HA postcode, it is well within Hertfordshire--Pandaplodder (talk) 18:17, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Postcode doesn't define where somewhere is. Local government boundaries do. Northwood is in Hillingdon borough and HMS Warrior isn't. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.140.57.113 (talk) 12:31, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Location filming
editI notices this was removed froma n earlier edit, is it of any relevance of the town's impact on pop culture?
- Kewferry Road in Northwood served as The Avenue, Surbiton, in the BBC comedy The Good Life.
- A house on Kewferry Road was also used for filming in the production of the film Iris.
- Areas around the borough were used in the filming of the ITV detective series Murder in Suburbia.
- A restaurant on Green Lane was one of the contestants (and eventual winners) in the second series of the BBC programme The Restaurant.
- Green Lane car park is used as a base for filming crews.
