Fallen Officers
editI had originally included a Fallen Officers section listing the 19 Officers killed in the line of duty and another editor removed them stating that they were non-notable individuals and should not be listed. This editor claimed that they could not be listed unless they qualified for a stand alone article.
I disputed this and have waited patiently for his justification. It has not come, so I have returned the original section that includes links to any outside source with additional information.
I would appreciate any comments regarding this practice.SGT141 (talk) 02:44, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
The truth
editThe graphics for the Housing Police Caprice Classic patrol car was not designed by NYPD. I designed the graphics for that patrol car and the Housing Auxiliary Police patrol car, the new Housing Police patch and every new unit patch designed between 1991 and 1996 were designed by me Police Officer Juliet Jackson. To read everything I designed is not credited to anyone is because they don't want to admit a female black police officer designed all that and more. I still have the original artwork for everything which was painted by hand with acrylics and photo ready because I'm that good. It is going to the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington DC. You are not going to erase the history I made because I am black. The mural I painted in PSA 6 was seen by the Chief of the Department. That led to me designing everything. The mural I painted in 1991 was professionally moved from the old command in Drew Hamilton Houses to the new building built on 147 street and 8th Ave. That has my name on it. If it didn't, they wouldn't credit me for that too. ~2026-85611-9 (talk) 13:14, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
