Ellan Vannin?

edit

Did Ellan Vannin ever offer flights on the Isle of Man? I could swear it's the airline we took when we left Mann to head to Ireland in the summer of 2012, but I'm having trouble tracking down information on them. (The plane we took was extremely small.) 75.142.253.243 (talk) 22:44, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Figured out it was Manx2, which is also now defunct. 75.142.253.243 (talk) 22:48, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Codes and Callsigns

edit

Before this table wqas recently hacked about it did not include codes and callsigns, propose that it doesnt add anything to the list (they sometimes change and should be in the linked article) and should be removed as before, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 16:34, 27 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dealing with this excessively large list

edit

I just removed over 250 circular redirects, i.e. airlines that pointed straight back to this article, airlines which had no article of their own. That's a huge number of airlines that would very likely not be notable enough to have their own article. Given that is the case I am interested in what other editors think. Do we, for example?

  • a) Leave it as it is now
  • b) Get rid of all the non-linked entries

My personal preference is b because of WP:LISTCRUFT which this article is a bit of a magnet for and because I'm a strong believer that less is more.

Your thoughts would be very welcome. 10mmsocket (talk) 17:08, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

+ for a). The list even contains airlines which operated Boeing 747s, and I strongly believe that this makes them and others relevant. --Uli Elch (talk) 17:52, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
