Talk:List of aviation shootdowns and accidents during the Russo-Ukrainian war

Name change

edit

This was a big change to make without discussion. Why wasn't it changed to something along the lines of 'List of aviation losses during the Russo-Ukrainian War'? 'losses' would cover 'shootdowns and accidents'. Obscurasky (talk) 08:36, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

New Losses from Russian Side

edit

1. A Russian Su-30 fighter jet was reported downed in early April 2026 (April 3), with conflicting reports suggesting either a crash in occupied Crimea or a possible engagement with Ukrainian forces (Crew ejected and evacuated).

2. On 31 March 2026, a Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-34 was lost under unclear circumstances. At least one crew member did not survive. The loss was confirmed by several Russian channels (including the Telegram Channel FighterBomber). Rowly1996 (talk) 11:36, 5 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
