Why not remove the double links in the wiki table? 201.92.20.106 (talk) 23:36, 26 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Because it's a sortable table, so technically there is no first occurrence. See MOS:REPEATLINK. Betty Logan (talk) 23:50, 26 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Casino Royale 1967

edit

The 1967 movie, which doesn't share lineage with the other movies of the series, is not mentioned. Still, it's a James Bond movie, was a financial success, with an Academy Award nomination. Casino Royale (1967 film) has more information on it. We should include it in the 1967 year with a note on how it differs from the other movies. Rbanffy (talk) 17:51, 12 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

It is already included at Non-Eon films.Lobo151 (talk) 18:39, 12 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Budget of No Time to Die

edit

In the chart (List of James Bond films#Eon films), the amount of $ is adjusted differently in two places:

  1. "No Time to Die" {{formatnum:{{Inflation|US|250|2021|2024|r=0}}}}–{{formatnum:{{Inflation|US|301|2021|2024|r=0}}}}
  2. "Total of Eon-produced films" {{Inflation|US|250|2020|2024}} and {{Inflation|US|301|2020|2024}}

When deciding which year to use, I noticed that the references for No Time to Die's budget is actually published in different year. [44] is published in 2019 and [45] is published in 2020. Should we simply use the year when No Time to Die was released, or the year when the references were published? EzrealChen (talk) 07:40, 27 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

NTTD is anomalous because its release was delayed by a year because of covid. The convention is to adjust from the year of release, but in this case there is probably a good argument for adjusting the budget from 2020. In truth I can live with either, but the year used in both calculations needs to be consistent. Betty Logan (talk) 09:53, 27 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
 Done I'm fine with the convention.--EzrealChen (talk) 15:04, 30 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
