Splitting out disambiguation according to name

edit

I'm not sure why Liberal Democrats link here it would be more useful to link to a page listing just those parties who are called "Liberal Democrats", not all "Liberal" parties in general. Disambiguation pages are meant to help the reader find their topic as fast as possible; I don't think this current layout achieves that. Matt Crypto 13:06, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

In that case, I've probably annoyed everyone more; changed Liberal Democratic Party of Australia to their new (legal) name Liberty & Democracy Party. -- PaulxSA 13:58, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

In fact Mr Sharma was never a member of the Liberal Democrats - a party that was formed in 1988 from the merger of the old Liberals and the SDP. He was a member of the pre-merger Liberal Party and I have changed this detail to reflect that fact. However for some reason I cannot get the link to relate specifically to the UK Liberal Party - can someone sort this out please?  Preceding unsigned comment added by Multiculturalist (talkcontribs) 11:53, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
