The result of the move request was: Procedural close. A merge would not be effected by moving the article. And in any case, the merge itself needs discussion first. Somaliland and Somalia are different political entities covering different de facto territory, so it seems sensible to treat their articles separately. —Amakuru (talk) 15:17, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
