there are the "facts" but
editThere is also opinion, context . 143 sources in a 10 min read doesn't help with that, for example. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:E0A:A5E:18C0:F8F3:D657:F68:DBF4 (talk) 20:09, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
Kevin Spacey sexual misconduct allegations spun off into another article without consensus
editIt appears that Kevin Spacey sexual misconduct allegations has been spun off into another article without any consensus by a sockpuppet. Any thoughts on if it should stay or be merged back? Spinixster (trout me!) 00:47, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
- I think it should be merged back *because* it was spun off without any discussion. Historyday01 (talk) 00:53, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
- Given the length of the article, I think the split makes sense. Not sure there's any reason to oppose it, even if it was created by a sockpuppet. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 04:51, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- The size of the article before the split is 6139 words. Afterwards, it's 4609 words. Per WP:SIZESPLIT, it may not warrant splitting. Spinixster (trout me!) 05:55, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose merge; the split seems warranted; a merge would unbalance the target and I note that these is an appropriate summary. Klbrain (talk) 20:39, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- Would it unbalance the target if it's only ~1.5k words? Plus, again, I should stress that a sockpuppet made the merge, so that should be something to note, too. Spinixster (trout me!) 00:51, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
- Shame about the sockpuppetry, but the split was a good move. It's an independently notable controversy and deserves an article that can detail it in greater detail than can be done here.LM2000 (talk) 20:32, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
- Well then, it should be expanded. Right now, it's just copy-and-pasted. Spinixster (trout me!) 00:46, 11 October 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose. Would overwhelm other article. The accusations & aftermath warrant a separate article. Djflem (talk) 11:33, 12 October 2024 (UTC)

For reference 142.
The text may to readers imply nefarious relationships with Jeffery Epstein which, as of this date, there is no support for.
I would suggest adding "...during a 2002 trip to Africa with President Clinton to support AIDS causes where The Clinton Foundation got to borrow Epsteins private plane"
This in order to provide context to the scentence and avoid 'cliffhangers' ~2026-11376-70 (talk) 13:56, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
Not done for now: I get the gist of what you want changed. It would help if you wrote out the paragraph as you envision it as "change x to y". Could you provide a more reliable source than the WP:TMZ article already cited? ScrubbedFalcon (talk) 18:56, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
