Repeated addition of unverified information.
edit@Ponyshine: Can you please point out where in the Herald Sun you got this information you have repeatedly added. Everything I have added is verified by a reliable source and properly cited.
Seeing you're so experienced in editing on wikipedia and i am only a two day old member i'm sure i dont have to remind you that every bit of information you include when you build an encyclopaedia must be verified by secondary sources.
It is obvious you are trying to push an agenda you are not here to improve Wikipedia; Example A is your edit summary here where you removed entirely neutral and verified information, hid the fact that you re-added completely unverified information which I removed, and went on to belittlle me. - Since you have pinged me I will let you know that I appreciate you coming to the talk page to discuss this, as yesterday I considered reporting you for nearly breaking the three revert rule here. Please keep this rule in mind when making edits to articles. Plasticwonder (Cat got your tongue?) 16:07, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- I don’t understand the question - the wiki description is a fitting and accurate summary of what the herald Sun article says. Ponyshine (talk) 23:00, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- Where in the article does it say: "Le Greco had never owned the tavern and was not employed at the restaurant"? Bobby3832 (talk) 13:38, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

- You still haven't pointed out where in the news article it says the information you have added to the article. You all you have done is dismissed me as a new personal to wikipedia and someone who doesn't know the correct procedure. I stand by every bit of information i have added and removed in this article- all supported by reliable sources- The ABC and the Australian Financial Review.
- Not once have you made an argument on the merits of the content. Bobby3832 (talk) 02:18, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Bobby3832! I just reverted your changes since you should not edit the article when there is a talk page request about the article.
- I think the confusion is about why your edits got reverted. As you said, Wikipedia articles must be backed up with reliable sources.
- However, the reason you edit got reverted is for two different reasons. First, a the neutral point of view and encyclopaedic tone is required on Wikipedia, which can be compromised by words like "centrepiece", and "fiscal sustainability", and "key", along with giving undue weight to the policies of Wilson, by emphasising the $200 billion debt and the specifics of the plan and the espoused benefits
- Furthermore, the role of Wikipedia is to be an encyclopaedia, and hence this article should provide an overview of Jess Wilson's life and political career, whilst not mentioning every quote or part of a news story. Thus, mentioning her relatively insignificant quote about the treaty and going into detail about the specifics of her crime policy should not be included. (see WP:Too much detail)
- I cannot speak on the Herald Sun source, since I do not have access to their news articles.
- Thanks, Kora ^^ (she/her) say hi!/what I've done 06:42, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- The article in full is below. Which I’d suggest the paragraph used covers succinctly.
- ____
- Opposition Leader Jess Wilson has found herself in the middle of an embarrassing vetting failure after hosting a press conference alongside a restaurant manager who was jailed for fraudulently embezzling over $200,000 from a kindergarten in 2012.
- Ms Wilson held her Monday press conference alongside Perry Le Greco at the Mediterranean Tavern in Elsternwick, inaccurately telling reporters that Mr Le Greco was the owner of the premises, and was now considering closing down the business because he couldn’t cope with Labor’s taxes.
- But it was revealed on Friday that Mr Le Greco was jailed in 2013 under the name Periclis Telios for embezzling $224,008 from the Ward Ave Kindergarten Association in Oakleigh South between February and October 2012.
- A court found Mr Telios was a gambling addict who used the money to bet on AFL matches and greyhound races.
- By Friday afternoon, all video clips of Mr Le Greco had been deleted from Ms Wilson’s Instagram.
- A spokeswoman for the opposition insisted the party had looked into Mr Le Greco prior to his appearance alongside Ms Wilson, adding that he was able to slip through the cracks because he changed his name.
- “Due diligence was undertaken on the individual in question prior to the event,” she said.
- “Because he now goes by a different name, his convictions were not able to be identified.”
- Taking to Facebook on Friday night, Mr Le Greco said the theft was “the worst mistake of my life”.
- life”.
- “I served two years in prison and repaid every dollar taken from the kindergarten in full from my superannuation,” he said.
- “The reason I am sharing this now is because over recent days there have been attempts to use my past against me and the restaurant. Rather than allow others to tell my story, I have chosen to tell it myself.”
- A member of the management team at the Mediterranean Tavern clarified that Mr Le Greco has never owned the tavern, and that he was only a general manager who was falsely identified as the owner by Ms Wilson at the press conference because the real owner was indisposed.
- The owner also claimed that someone had called Mr Le Greco days after the press conference went to air on Channel 7, and threatened to expose his true identity unless he paid thousands of dollars in blackmail money.
- “Perry has never been the owner and he is no longer employed here,” he said.
- “But it’s a shame 15 years later that someone with a mental illness is being harassed.” Ponyshine (talk) 06:41, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
