Gallows
edit- The article says that Harold's Cross Park was the site of a gallows used for executions in the 18th century and earlier, but it does not say how much earlier or when exactly the first execution took place.--jeanne (talk) 11:56, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
- The earliest date I could find is the 1300s, in "Dublin, the first thousand years", which states that the gallows there was maintained by the Archbishop.Hohenloh (talk) 03:31, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Images
edit- Removed the image tag - the article could do with a few more, but I take it that the tag refers only to articles with no photos?Sarah777 (talk) 20:18, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- I think there's some discretion involved, and the tag is whatever a particular project wants it to be - I take the presence of that tag to mean "meaningful image required", which I felt was not met in this case - but this is nothing critical, and I will try to come up with a couple for the area myself in the week ahead anyway. It was not the only suburb I reviewed today where the only image present really said nothing about the area. SeoR (talk) 00:20, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
Trams
editThe just-added and -removed text on trans sounded interesting but sure, needs citation. A tag would have been enough; it was not contentious. Let’s get a source and restore it… SeoR (talk) 13:30, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
