Naming convention

edit

Should the name of the article be "HM Coastguard" as per WP:COMMONNAME? It is the name that is used on the website and the press , . Davidstewartharvey (talk) 05:14, 20 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

In addition HM Revenue and Customs is not nsned His Majesty's. Davidstewartharvey (talk) 10:20, 22 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
The 2023 Move Request just above decided against a move, so this article should not be moved without starting a new move request. - Station1 (talk) 16:53, 23 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

His Majesty's CoastguardHM Coastguard – The name does not meet WP:COMMONNAME or WP:ACRONYMTITLE. The organisation as per their own website states [] and the logo is HM Coastguard. News organisations call it HM Coastguard . We already have HM Revenue and Customs using the initials. Davidstewartharvey (talk) 19:10, 23 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
