The most cited source for this article, ChineseFirearms.com, currently leads to a blank page. I am not familiar enough/am having technical issues with the Wayback Machine to archive it myself at this time, but this seems like a serious sourcing issue worth noting. That is all.

Update 00:00, 16 March 2026: I got the Wayback Machine working, but there does not appear to be any snapshots from before the domain was seemingly sold. For this reason I can only recommend the citation be removed, and the derived claims independently verified.
