Description of suggested change: Requesting removal of detail about pardon request as it is not directly relevant to the summit itself. The primary focus of Trump's speech was on US–Israel relations and regional peace efforts. While this detail may be appropriate for an article made specifically about Trump's Israel visit (or Netanyahu's legal issues), it is tangential to an article focused on the Peace Summit. Per WP:WEIGHT, article should focus on content directly related to the summit's details and circumstances.

Not done: I don't see an issue with including this in the background section, especially since the sentence has now been updated to mention other aspects of Trump's speech. Day Creature (talk) 00:09, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

Description of suggested change:
Add to bulleted list of "See Also" a short list of pages that have links to ESSENTIAL documents re background UN decisions already taken by ALL the governments attending summit except the USA, plus the page that links to ESSENTIAL details of GITA proposal by current UK National Security Advisor and formerly Tony Blair's Chief of Staff I suggest reverse chronological order.
I would also suggest creating additional link to a stub page for the very important ICJ decision scheduled for announcement on 22 October re "Obligations of Israel in relation to the Presence and Activities of the United Nations, Other International Organizations and Third States in and in relation to the Occupied Palestinian Territory"
But I am not drafting stub myself so not included in Diff below.
Comment. In my opinion Palestine was present but Israel could not be invited because the countries attending are deciding the details of how to implement the decisions they have already taken to end Israel's occupation and blockade of Gaza. Anyone with other interpretations would still want to have a references to pages that link to the documents that include the paragraphs quoted below from the actual document A/CONF.243/2025/1 that was endorsed by 142 votes in favour with only the USA, Israel and 8 other minor states not invited to this summit voting against:
13. Following the ceasefire, a transitional administrative committee must be immediately established to operate in Gaza under the umbrella of the Palestinian Authority.
15. We supported the deployment of a temporary international stabilization mission upon invitation by the Palestinian Authority and under the aegis of the United Nations and in line with UN principles, building on existing UN capacities, to be mandated by the UN Security Council, with appropriate regional and international support. We welcomed the readiness expressed by some Member States to contribute in troops.
Above links and excerpts should also be included in appropriate pages but I'm not a regular editor and won't be drafting it.

Description of suggested change: Add after the mention of the pardon, that later Trump mentioned to reporters that Netanyahu asked him to ask Herzog during the speech for the pardon. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/trump-i-didnt-want-to-call-for-netanyahu-to-receive-pardon-but-was-moved-by-good-round-of-applause/
