Change the table at the top of the page from just showing the Top 20 in FIFA rankings to show ALL of the rankings. It was that way before but it was changed to just the top 20 for some reason. I was importing to a Google sheet to keep a project of mine updated but I no longer have the full updated rankings and am unable to import them from FIFA.com. Not done: looking at the article history and these discussions - 1, 2 - there seems to be consensus among editors that adding more rankings from the website presents a copyright problem. @Loonacyp18: maybe you could perhaps retrieve the data from the Lua code present in the Module:SportsRankings/data/FIFA World Rankings page? Time increase of the total sum of all ratings
editEntering a the shoot out the game stops be a zero sum game. This increases the sum of all ratings and opens the door for manipulation. In theory, after a shoot out, both teams could increase their rating. 84.30.54.101 (talk) 07:21, 3 February 2025 (UTC)

editYou need update the rankings, I’m trying to say it via edit request about you keep guys saying: "it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" formatand provide a reliable source if appropriate." - The restrictions on editing this article, listed at WP:SEMI, are not that onerous. The main one is that editors must register their account. In the last four days, you could have registered an account on Wikipedia, done enough work elsewhere in Wikipedia to validate it being a real account, and then been able to edit this article yourself.
- I understand that there is often a desire for Wikipedia to be up to date (and sometimes it very impressively is), but Wikipedia is an encyclopedia; Wikipedia is not a newspaper (see WP:NOTNEWS), so unlike FIFA's own website, or the sports section of an online newspaper, it is on editors to do the work if they want an article to be up to date. (And if you don't want to wait for a registered editor to make the change, and you don't want to register yourself, then, yes, you can specifically identify the parts of the article you would change-- as if you went to the edit link -- and put the specific edits into a suggestion on this talk page.) I have tried to calculate the points for some countries after a FIFA break ended, but it found big difference between mine and FIFA calculations.
