2009 Election
editI think that s wrong..Parliament is elected every 5 years not 4. Last time early election was scheduled before time, and next general elections might be called in 2009 ,1 year before the term expires, but it is still not sure.

Hi Maximiliano! Are you the one who runs the Electoral Calendar? I agree, I think the next Mauritius parliamentary election will be July 2010, not July 2009. For one, I can't find any current news articles pertaining to an election in Mauritius this month. But I have found reference to a July 2010 election on the IFES Election Guide and the EISA Website. Does anyone object to me changing all references to a July 2009 election, to July 2010? I would do that here on this page, on Mauritian general election, 2009. I would also remove it from Electoral calendar 2009 and add it to Electoral calendar 2010. Dracunculus (talk) 19:35, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I notice that the Mauritian general election, 2010 page has been moved... I'm going to change all references on this page to a 2009 election, to a 2010 election. Dracunculus (talk) 23:50, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
