Dustin Henderson (Stranger Things) → Dustin Henderson – At the time of this writing, Dustin Henderson redirects to Dustin Henderson's section of the List of Stranger Things characters-article (at least when I click on it). I think it would be better if this article was moved to Dustin Henderson. I think it is unnessecary to disambiguate this article's name as "Dustin Henderson (Stranger Things)" if there is no other article called "Dustin Henderson" (Unless you consider Dustin Henderson linking to Dustin Henderson's section of the List of Stranger Things characters-article a seperate article). • Draftify this newly created article instead. At present it is entirely unsourced and in-universe, and therefore unsuitable for mainspace. PC78 (talk) 18:07, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
• Support per nom. When/while this page exists, it should be in the main basename. No reason for it not to be. (This page being suitable or not - and maybe needing to be draftified - is a bit of different issue. Paintspot Infez (talk) 22:16, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
  • It's not really a different issue, since draftifying means making an alternative move to Draft:Dustin Henderson. If the necessary improvements can be made before this discussion closes then fine, but there's no point moving it to the basename in it's current state. PC78 (talk) 11:33, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
    • Its now been moved to the draft space. I suppose we could continue seeing if it should be moved back into mainspace but at least it should be moved to Draft:Dustin Henderson as unnecessary disambiguation. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:31, 22 July 2019 (UTC)

• Conditional support if article by the end of the RM has been written to establish independent notability and loses some of the in-universe style of writing, otherwise oppose and draftify. There's probably some coverage out there on the character but will probably take some effort to separate the wheat from the chaff. I'd recommend finding a) Reviews on the performance of the actor b) Awards they won/nominated for their portrayal (which exists on his article). I'm a relatively new wikipedia editor and I want the page to have a picture of Dustin from the show in the infobox but as i say im not very clued up on the wikipedia commons rules and picture uploading. I know from other articles that using a screenshot from a show is fair use and technically doesnt violate copyright laws if just used once as a reference. Notability

Hey, I'm posting this because I do not believe that the article has fulfilled notability requirements, but I also know that redirecting or AfDing the article would go nowhere because frankly, if Ted Wheeler is notable, one of the main characters of the show is too (and I've also seen stuff on Dustin in passing that show notability, so this ain't no [[WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS}]). @JensenJackInABox: For future reference, to establish notability, you should seek out at least three strong references that discuss a subject in a significant capacity. The articles do not need to have him as the primary subject to count as significant coverage, but it does help to have at least some. Hi, thank you for your feedback, I will take that into consideration for the future. I went through the articles of other stranger things characters and copied the articles which mentioned albeit not in great detail. I intend to add more references for him as you've pointed out can be found easily. I was also quite surprised to see such an obscure character as Ted Wheeler with an article. I do intend to make an article for Lucas if one is not already being created, and will seek out strong references JensenJackInABox (talk) 12:31, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
