Name
editMany years ago while working as a librarian, a map having the name spelled as Convent Garden came my way. If anyone has access to such a map, please edit the article.50.43.163.127 (talk) 03:01, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
Term "Covent Garden nun" - something to look up
editI don't know if anyone has access to a book called The Penguin Dictionary of Historical Slang, but I recall (between 1976-79 in a college library) coming across in that book the term "Covent Garden nun" which it defined as a term for a prostitute. If someone could look that up and cite the relevant page, then that could be mentioned in this article. (The book's cover had a picture of two knight's visored helmets with one telling the other "Shut your face!") I don't know if more recent editions of the book have been published since that decade.Cloptonson (talk) 12:45, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
