Anecdotes

edit

@Dioskorides, your work is much appreciated, but it's worth always keeping in mind, as you know, that the GAN process is one person ensuring rather permissive guidelines apply to an article—it's not at all the case that no removals can be made without prior permission. Ok, certainly, but I think that it should be explained if someone wants to delete such a great amount of text, a whole chapter. It would be useful to look for a consensus. --Dioskorides (talk) 22:18, 8 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
This type of "chapter" is generally avoided, per WP:ANECDOTE. Nikkimaria (talk) 02:21, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Two things need added

edit

Since I'm not mathematician, I am not comfortable adding info to this article. Request someone else do it. Unless I missed it, which is certainly possible, two things should be added: 1) the term "degauss" - while magnetism is discussed, the article doesn't mention this term. There's an entire aricle on it here: Degaussing 2) Gaussian distribution - his key developments of the bell curve, there's an article on this too, see Normal distribution
