| The content of Bureau of Public Affairs was merged into Bureau of Global Public Affairs on 3 April 2026. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page. |

Merge proposal
editMerge Bureau of Public Affairs and Bureau of International Information Programs into Bureau of Global Public Affairs. The former two orgs have been folded into target org. There sourcing on those pages are primary WP:NEWS and WP:PRESSRELEASEs. Longhornsg (talk) 04:09, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Longhornsg, Support Seems like a reasonable merge to cover predecessor offices with the current office. — Reywas92Talk 15:16, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

Post-merge to-do
editI've merged the content simply, with everything going to 'history' (being part of the former agencies). However, it may be that some parts have survived the merge, and hence could be moved out of the 'history' section and hence start to build content about the current state of the bureau.
