According to his web site, Mr. Higgins is a great-great grandson of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the nineteenth-century German writer. Which would be a cool thing to be. Cranston Lamont 23:59, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

The information on Mr. Higgins' website is incorrect.
There are no more direct descendants of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, as all his grandsons—Walther Wolfgang, Wolfgang Maximilian—and his daughter (who also died young) remained childless, and the last grandson, Walther, died in 1885, thus ending the direct line. ~2026-46717-4 (talk) 05:41, 22 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
