This article is no exception to the ongoing low standards of Wikipedia. You are once again going against your own "Biographies of living persons" policy, using blatantly left wing sources to smear a private citizen. The main source of this article is Luke O'Brien from the Huffington Post, a militantly left wing website owned by Buzzfeed. Luke O'Brien and HuffPost blatantly violated ethics laid out by the Society of Professional Journalists by doxing Amy Mek and her family in an article from 2018. A quick perusal of O'Brien's social media shows an unhinged leftist filling his days with making accusations against perceived political opponents. It is clear that this Wikipedia article was created because Amy Mek has a large social media platform, a successful website (RAIR Foundation USA) and is a vocal ally of Donald Trump, the presumed 2024 Republican presidential candidate. Biased Article

This article is incredibly biased and relies heavily on one underlying source (Huff Post article) that has been refuted as a "hit piece" by many media sources.

The only primary source on the Internet is Amy Mekelburg's speech at the European Union Parliament on Free Speech. This link was removed from the article. Why was the only primary source removed? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_rNZ5wE7_E&t=2s

The following articles were added to the Amy Mek article but were subsequently removed. By removing these articles, Wikipedia is choosing to only share a one-sided, and politically motivated set of "facts" that had never been validated in underlying Huff Post article.

In addition, the article incorrectly claims what "RAIR" stands for. It is clear from the underlying source (https://rairfoundation.com/about/) that RAIR stands for RISE, ALIGN, IGNITE, RECLAIM. Despite there being no proof of an alternate meaning, this change has been undone based on only an unsubstantiated claim in Huff Post article.

In addition, Amy Mekelburg holds Master's Degrees from New York University (Communications & Social Work) - yet those facts have been edited out. Not sure what the basis for editing those out.

Also, the article has headline "American Twitter user" which is not what Amy Mek's occupation is. She is an investigative journalist writing for RAIR Foundation and has written hundreds of articles all accessible at RAIRFoundation.com. Does Wikipdeia title Elon Musk article with "Active Twitter User"? Clearly, the intent is to misrepresent and she Amy Mekelburg in a negative light.

Also, edits referring to Amy Mek as "Jewish-American" have been removed. Her Jewish heritage and religion are the foundation for what she writes. Why was this edited out? BigCityOrigins (talk) 21:18, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
