... that America Windows by Marc Chagall is the first stained glass window designed for viewing in a museum?

Not a review, but a new hook is needed here. The hook is a "first" hook, and per WP:DYKHOOKCITE, superlative hooks are now discouraged at DYK unless they have airtight sourcing. The current hook is an exceptional claim that is hard to prove with certainty, so I've struck it. - The article is new enough, long enough, well-sourced. No copyvio, though earwig show large false positive percentages. Main images are fair use (though strangely I can't click on them), other images seem to be correctly licenced. The hook is interesting, qpq done. Approved!

- @Artem.G:, It seems we don't often use the picture slot for unbolded biographical subjects. The last one I can find is July 1. Should I crop a Chagall pic and nominate this for the picture slot?-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:13, 31 August 2025 (UTC)

- It's up to you, but you should be aware that having a picture in a nomination is not a guarantee that the hook will be selected for the picture slot. It is also considered bad practice to request an image slot, especially when we have a limited number of them. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 10:44, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- A picture of Chagall would divert WP:DYKDIVERT.--Launchballer 11:03, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- Between these two responses I created File:Marc Chagall 1967 crop.jpg, which I guess I will just leave out of the nomination now.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 11:23, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

Highlighted portions are by the reviewer.
1a. Prose Prose by definition literally means "straightforward" which this article is especially in the lead, though is seen through the entire article, pass.
1b. MoS MoS is a pass, under my own check utilizing GA criteria, and the article: Wikipedia:Manual of Style
2a. Citations WP:RS I will be assessing a total of three citations and then contributors relevant layout.
- [14] Is sufficient "...Chagall himself painted his design onto the glass using metallic oxide paints..." -supports claim in Process section in the article (P1 S7)
- [2] Contributors claim in Background section (P1 S2-S3) is backed by evidence “...Rembrandt’s primary color was brown, Chagall’s was most definitely blue...” reference makes this not a claim but a fact.
- [1] Claim backed by evidence,"Best known as a painter, Chagall had been working in stained glass f..." in Background section (P1 S1)
2b. Ref layout: Contributor('s) have followed the rule of thumb of if there is the want or a substantial need waranting multiple new sections regarding references that the sections can be deemed "Notes", "Endnotes" or "Footnotes", as stated in the MoS and deemed the Notes section was used, and has been implemented correctly by all respective parties responsible for that section this is a... PASS.
2c. No WP:OR Pass, as relevant contributors (or contributor) has substantial references for all claims assessed in review meaning it does not contain any original research.
2d. No WP:CV Due to the recent review for DYK there was no findings of copy violations, I will only confirm this, update, this is all good as it seems to be fair use and public domain, as the DYK Reviewer said photos are not clickable so they are not going to be assessed, pass.
4. Neutral, 3a. Broad, 5. Stable, 3b. Focused. Covers a wide audience? Yes Educational? Yes Covers topic responsibly? Yes PASS Area Assessed? Body and Photographs
6a,6b Already assessed, subject to pass due to 2nd assessment having warranted same results as first.
