- @ZooBlazer: Well done on the article. Considering that you're aiming to get this to FAC, I did more things regarding the prose than I usually would do for a standard GA review. Overall, I think that the prose is brilliant though I'll be happy to take another look at the article at PR/FAC stage. I'm going to put this on hold for a week, but if you're busy and can't complete it in a week, I'll put it on hold for another week or two. Cheers, Vacant0 (talk • contribs) 18:17, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Vacant0 Thanks for the review! I think this is probably the next article after the Frozen Wilds that I plan to take to FAC, so thanks for doing a little more to help get the prose ready. I have addressed all of your comments I think. I ended up going a little out of order so hopefully I didn't miss anything. Replacing one of the Kotaku refs actually unintentionally helped with one of the spot checks, so that was nice. I think the only thing I kept the same was the Fortnite/Genshin Impact part in the lead. Other than that I hope everything looks better. -- ZooBlazer 21:02, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for addressing the comments so quickly. I’ll go ahead and promote the article. Good luck with the article! Vacant0 (talk • contribs) 21:48, 3 June 2026 (UTC)

- Sources
- what makes PlayStation Lifestyle a reliable source?
- Ref 38 (Kotaku 2024) should be replaced. Same goes for Ref 79 (Kotaku 2023), Ref 90 (Kotaku 2023), Ref 93 (Kotaku 2024). See WP:KOTAKU for more info.
- There are primary sources, all okay.
- Other sources fall under our reliability criteria.
- Prose:
- "titles including Fortnite (2017) and Genshin Impact (2020)" – I got confused at one point, thinking that years were meant for her appearances. This is optional, but you can change it to "and she has since appeared in high-profile crossover events, including appearances in Fortnite in 2021 and Genshin Impact later that same year"
- "They retained her signature fiery red hair and tribal braids while avoiding impractical fashionable flourishes, using complex hair physics to make her movements appear more dynamic during combat." → "While they retained her signature fiery red hair and tribal braids to avoid impractical fashion flourishes, the developers utilised complex hair physics to make her movements look more dynamic in combat."
- "Burch also noted that her vocal recording sessions were highly physical in their own right; to produce authentic combat sounds, she would actively pantomime taking different types of elemental damage.[14] To complement the physical performance, Guerrilla's audio team recorded extensive, dynamic foley for her movements. Senior sound designer Lucas van Tol explained that Aloy's footsteps were designed to dynamically change in weight and texture depending on the specific type of armour the player equips. Because the prologue features a young Aloy walking barefoot, the team had to record a completely separate set of audio rhythms to match the distinct pacing of the child motion-capture actress." change equips → equipped. Trim to "vocal recording sessions were intensely physical; to produce authentic combat sounds, Burch pantomimed taking different types of elemental damage."
- "by forcing the player to inhabit the worldview of a social outcast, the game privileges the perspective of the marginalised and encourages a perspective shift in the player." → "by forcing the player to inhabit the worldview of a social outcast; in doing so, the game privileges the perspective of the marginalised, prompting a cognitivie shift in the audience."
- "Guerrilla released a series of official cosplay guides to actively support the community" → "Guerrilla released a series of official cosplay guides to support the community actively."
- Overall prose: top notch, very well written and constructed. These comments I left are mostly minor issues, nothing much.
Spotcheck:
- Laura Van Tol (infant) – unsourced
- Ava Potter (child) – unsourced
- Category:Fictional archers – unsourced
- 31st-century setting – might be unsourced, I cannot find something similar in the body
