But you missed the part where it says ".. where the person is currently a national". Since, she was born in India, works primarily in Indian films but has a British citizenship is the reason why this line "British actress of Indian descent" is used, after a long discussion, conforming to various constraints of course. Had India allowed dual citizenship, and she had one, that line would have simply been ".. Indian and British actress.." or something along the lines. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:27, 28 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Change the current image to Alia-Bhatt-grace-the-red-carpet-of-the-25th-ITA-Awards-26 (cropped).jpg, as it is the updated version of the person. PieWriter (talk) 07:42, 13 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before creating an edit request. I think the current infobox photo is better, as it is of higher quality and more high resolution. Day Creature (talk) 15:33, 13 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Addition of “Media image” content on attractiveness rankings

edit

I propose adding a short, well-sourced paragraph to the “Media image” section highlighting Alia Bhatt’s presence in media-based attractiveness and desirability rankings. Similar content is commonly included in the articles of other major Bollywood actors, such as Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, where it helps provide a balanced view of their media perception and public image.

Not done: Not only is this promotional WP:FANCRUFT, but should also be removed from the other pages you reference above. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:32, 21 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

In Bhatt’s case, there are multiple reliable sources documenting her inclusion in lists such as

A high-profile and popular celebrity in India, Bhatt is described as a sex symbol and ranks high on various listings of the most attractive Indian celebrities.[1][2] In 2014 and 2016, she was listed in "100 Sexiest Woman" by the Indian edition of FHM.[3][4] In 2015, she appeared on HuffPost's "100 Most Influential Women on Twitter" list.[5] The Indian edition of People described her as "India's Most Beautiful Woman" in 2016. Bhatt was listed in first place in The Times of India's "50 Most Desirable Women" list of 2018, and she was named the "Sexiest Asian Woman" by the UK magazine Eastern Eye in 2019.[6][7] In 2020, Eastern Eye also featured her in their dynamic dozen for the decade list.[8] In 2019 and 2023, Bhatt featured in Rediff's annual "Top Bollywood Actresses" listing.[9][10] She has been featured frequently on other Rediff lists, including "Bollywood's Most Beautiful Actresses", "Bollywood's Best Actresses Ever" and "Top 10 Bollywood Actresses of all Time".[11][12][13][14]

These mentions are sourced from established publications and are already widely cited across comparable biographies. The addition would therefore improve consistency with similar articles and enhance coverage of her public image without giving undue weight. All sources are reliable and already formatted per citation guidelines. Feedback from other editors is welcome. Sasy15 (talk) 13:11, 21 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
