| The content of Banknote of Alderney was merged into Alderney pound on 15 March 2013. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page. |
Proposed merge
editThe page Banknote of Alderney should be merged into this article. It has been only one sentence long since its creation over 5 years ago, and as it is about a single rare bank note I cant see there ever being enough information on the subject to warrant an article of it's own. - Merge complete. xlynx (talk) 11:52, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
Defunct?
editThis currency is listed as 'Defunct' in the 'Currencies named pound or similar' template - presumably it isn't? --87.254.86.112 (talk) 13:34, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
- I just noticed that as well. True, it isn't in general circulation, but as commemorative coins are issued, it can't be called defunct. I'm going to change the template. Jellyman (talk) 14:53, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
