Maurice WM Lee (Chinese: 李偉民) is a senior lawyer [3] and writer in Hong Kong. Known for his works to law, art and cuture, he holds public appointments and professional roles across Hong Kong's legal, media, and cultural sectors. He is a Justice of the Peace [1], and recipient of the Bronze Bauhinia Star awarded by the Hong Kong Government [2].

Lee qualified as a lawyer in 1984 and is registered as a lawyer in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Singapore [3]. His other professional roles include China‑appointed Attesting Officer for the Ministry of Justice of China; Arbitrator and Mediator with the Law Society of Hong Kong and international ADR bodies; and Civil Celebrant of Marriages in Hong Kong [8].

Lee is currently the Chairman of Cantonese Opera Development Fund Advisory Committee [11], member of Cantonese Opera Advisory Committee [12] & member of Cantonese Opera Development Fund Investment Committee [13].
