Jeremy Merrifield (born May 4, 1980) is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter.[1][2] He is best known for his short film Balloon (2019)[3][4][5][6], and for founding Dream Three, an independent film production company.[7][8]

editJeremy is a film producer, director, and screenwriter. He began making films after spending more than a decade working in New York's Broadway theater community.[9] [10][11]
Jeremy made his film directing debut in 2019 with the short, Balloon, starring Paul Scheer (Black Monday, The League) and Jonah Beres (Hulu's PEN15)[3]. Balloon was the recipient of numerous awards, including two “Student Emmys”[12] [13][14] at The Television Academy's College Television Awards for both Best Drama and the capstone Seymour Bricker Humanitarian Award for best of show across all categories[15][16][17]. The film went on to premiere on YouTube via the short film channel, Omeleto, and garnered 6+ million views in thirty days of its posting.[18]
