Comment: Beyond the TechCrunch profile and Tech in Asia Series A story, everything available is trade press product announcements, the company's own blog, and database listings. Funding announcements are explicitly excluded under WP:SIRS as routine coverage. No substantive independent analysis of HitPay as a company exists in searchable sources. Please resubmit only if that changes. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 02:50, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Comment: The MAS licensing page and Y Combinator listing are useful for verification but don't establish notability. Per Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies), a fintech company needs multiple independent sources providing significant coverage of the company itself. If TechCrunch, Tech in Asia, or similar publications have written a proper profile or funding story focused on HitPay, please add those and resubmit. HitPay is a Singapore-based financial technology company that provides payment services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Asia-Pacific region.[1][2][3] HitPay is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a Major Payment Institution.[4] Also, the company participated in Y Combinator.[5][6][7][8]
HitPay provides payment services for businesses and SMEs, including online and in-person payment acceptance, invoicing, recurring billing, and integrations with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce.[1][9][10][11] The company supports local payment methods in Southeast Asia alongside card networks and digital wallets.[9] In January 2026, HitPay introduced Borderless QR, a service for accepting QR-based payments from visitors using overseas payment schemes, including GrabPay, WeChat Pay, PromptPay, GCash and DuitNow.[12][13] The company provides card terminals for in-store transactions.[14][15][16]
Operations
editIn December 2025, Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone became available in Singapore, with HitPay listed among the payment platforms supporting the feature.[17] In April 2026, the feature became available in Malaysia, where HitPay was also listed among the supported payment platforms.[18]
In 2025, HitPay partnered with NPCI International to support acceptance of India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in Singapore.[19]
