Kal McRaven, better known as FunkyFrogBait is an American YouTuber born in September of 2000. They identify as non-binary and bisexual. They were homeschooled, and was raised Catholic and now is atheist. They post a full-length commentary video essay to YouTube about once a month, and these videos are generally 30-40 minutes long.

Kal’s first video on YouTube was posted on August 14 of 2021 and they continued to post about their life as well as gaming content. On February 16th of 2023, however, they made a video essay about a TikToker claiming to be the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler. This video did well and they continue to make similar content. They also post short-form skits to most platforms under either their real name or FunkyFrogBait.

On April 11, 2025 they started a gaming channel with a video titled "WORST PARTY EVER|Mouthwashing" were they play a horror game called Mouthwashing. In this video the ship "freezeframe" is started due to their face cam cutting out multiple times, and they had to put an ice pack on the camera. And someone in the chat said we should make a doomed yaoi about the camera and ice pack. The next major ship during live stream "I'M QUITTING THIS JOB|Fears to Fathom: Ironbark Lookout" was "twinktowers" which is still brought up in chats to this day. Twinktowers was between video game (Fears to Fathom: Ironbark Lookout) characters Jack Nelson and Connor Hawkins.

On a video posted on the 17 of October of 2025, Funky made a joke, questioning the possibility of a dedicated page being created about them on Wikipedia, to the benefit of the general public, of course.

Though a specific birthplace has not been made public (online), it is stated on the Do-124 website that Funky is from Dallas Texas. ^[1]
