eliumstudio is an industrial design agency based in Paris, France. Founded in 2002 by Élise Berthier, Marc Berthier, Pierre Garner and Frédéric Lintz, the studio develops products at the intersection of technology[2], everyday use, and sustainable design. Its portfolio includes collaborations with companies such as Free, Withings, McDonald’s, Schneider Electric, and Castalie. eliumstudio’s work has been recognized with international awards including Red Dot, iF Design, and Janus de l’Industrie.[3]
The studio was established in 2002 by Marc Berthier.[4] It currently employs around ten designers.[5]. They are the designer of the Tykho radio[6], that was featured on the cover of Time magazine to illustrate “The Rebirth of Design[7]. They are also the designers of the En Archipel project[8], With its tablets that can be assembled to form a digital board and its wobble stools, the En Archipel project was designed for middle school students. Eliumstudio has also designed La Machine[9][10] a device inspired by Marvin Minsky’s first “useless machine”[11][12].
