Devaksh K. Rai (born 29 January 1994) is an Indian actor primarily associated with Hindi television and theatre. He is best known for his work in mythological drama series, having portrayed *Agni Dev* in Dharm Yoddha Garud (2022) and *Rajguru Likhit* in Vighnaharta Ganesha (2021).
Early life and education
editDevaksh K. Rai was born on 29 January 1994, in Bareli, a town in Madhya Pradesh, India.[1] His father, Antram Rai, works as a supervisor in a private school, and his mother, Hari Rai, is a homemaker.[2]
After completing his schooling in Bareli, Rai relocated to Bhopal. He obtained both a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Barkatullah University.[2] While completing his post-graduate studies, he developed an interest in acting and joined the Trikarishi Natya Sansthan theatre group in Bhopal around 2016.[1]

editRai began his career in theatre in Bhopal around 2016 after joining the Trikarishi Natya Sansthan theatre group.[1] He participated in over 20 plays and short films, with roles in productions such as The Phoenician Women, Biju Seth, and Andher Nagri. During his initial years in acting, Rai worked various service jobs—including as a waiter, cashier, and receptionist—to support himself before achieving mainstream success.[1]
He made his television debut in the episodic series Vighnaharta Ganesha, playing the role of Rajguru Likhit.[3] He went on to appear in several other television shows and episodic crime dramas, including Crime Alert, Savdhan India, Crime Stop, Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat, Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan, and Phir Laut Aayi Naagin.
