Birol Govt. Pilot Model High School is a public high school in Dinajpur District, Bangladesh. About 700 students study here from classes 6 to 10. It is considered the dream school[1] for students in this area[2]. It is one of the ancient schools in Bangladesh. [citation needed][1]

History

Birol Govt. Pilot Model High School was established in 1948.[2] In 2018 the government[3] nationalised the school and converted it into the only Government school[4] in Birol Upazila. It has one of best graduation rates in Biral Upazila.[3]

Location & Structure

Birol Govt. Pilot Model High School is located right in front of Birol Thana and on the right side of the Birol Central Shaheed Minar. Our school has two academic buildings, one auditorium, one library, one science laboratory, and two computer labs. There are separate academic buildings for boys and girls. Almost all classrooms are equipped with projectors. Inside the school premises, there is a large playground for sports and games. The Birol Boro Mathe is mainly known as the playground of Birol Government Pilot Model High School. There is also a litchi orchard within our school campus. In front of our school, rows of beautiful flowering plants are planted, which makes the surroundings very attractive.
