Ahmed ElGabry (; born April 24, 1959) is an Egyptian television and film producer with over two decades of experience in the Egyptian and Arab entertainment industry. He is the owner of ElGabry Media Production and ElGabry Studios, and has produced more than 12 television drama series and 2 feature films that have been broadcast across Egypt and the Arab world.[1][2]
Early life
editAhmed ElGabry was born on April 24, 1959, in Al-Haram, Giza, Egypt. He grew up in a family with deep roots in the Egyptian film industry.
Career
editAhmed ElGabry founded ElGabry Media Production and ElGabry Studios, and has worked for over two decades in television and film production in the Egyptian and Arab markets.[3]
He began his career in film production with Nehab Esheit El Horeya in 2001, followed by Rendez-vous in 2002.[4][5]
He then moved into television drama production, producing Hada'eq El-Shaytan in 2006,[6] Al Rahaya in 2009,[7] Sheikh Al-Arab Hamam in 2010,[8] and Al-Khawaga Abdul-Qader in 2012, which achieved an IMDb rating of 8.2.[9]
He continued his production work with Awlad El Leil in 2007, Naseem Al Rouh in 2008, El Waswas in 2015, Khat Sahken and Bint El Kabael in 2020, and El Hilm in 2022.[10][11][12][13][14][15]
