Peer Abdul Ahad Sahib (30 June 1930 – 26 July 2010), popularly known as Ahad Bab or Ahad Bub, was a Kashmiri Sufi saint, mystic, and faith healer from Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir, India. He was widely revered in Kashmir and attracted followers from different religious communities.
He is regarded by his followers as a saint and spiritual figure.

Early life
editPeer Abdul Ahad Sahib was born on 30 June 1930 in Mohalla Ashpeer, Sopore, Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir.[1]
Career
editAt the age of 20, he joined the Jammu and Kashmir Police.[2]
Spiritual life
editFollowing his resignation, Ahad Bab became known for his ascetic lifestyle and devotion to spirituality. Over time, he attracted a large number of devotees who visited him for spiritual guidance and blessings.
Death
editLegacy
editAhad Bab remains one of the most revered Sufi figures of north Kashmir. His annual urs is observed in Sopore and attracts thousands of devotees every year.[5]
