The 2024 All-Ireland Junior Football Championship was the 92nd staging of the All-Ireland Junior Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1912.[citation needed] The championship ran from 29 June to 14 July 2024.[citation needed]
Returning champions, New York, won the 2024 competition, a second successive title.
Format
editSince 2022, the All-Ireland Junior Championship has been confined to just four teams; New York, Kilkenny and the winner and runner-up of the British Junior Football Championship. Prior to the change, the championship previously featured a provincial structure for all junior Gaelic football inter-county teams in Ireland. In 2024 a fifth team, the United States county team, joined the competition proper.
